Mary Adela (Ondrik) Usnik

It is with great sadness we share the death of Mary Adela (Ondrik) Usnik, age 98, on January 18, 2025. Mary Adela was born on May 5, 1926 in Barberton, Ohio. She grew up in Norton, Ohio and learned to bake, cook, and garden as a young girl. She met her husband, Mathew, in 1945 and they were married on January 18, 1947. They were blessed with a devoted daughter, Karen. Throughout her life, Mary Adela touched countless lives with her many thoughtful gestures of kindness and help. Her love for gardening never waned and she enjoyed beautifying the world around her.

Mary Adela was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Ondrik; her husband, Mathew; infant brother, George; brother, Rudy; and sisters, Cecelia, Victoria, and Irene. She will be missed dearly by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bob Krebs, and many friends.

The family would like to thank all of Adela’s wonderful friends who shared many wonderful visits with her.

Per Adela’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, Ohio.
