Matilda Faith Patterson, newborn daughter of Madison Garland and Devinn Patterson went to be with Jesus on January 12, 2025.

Matilda is survived by her siblings, Miah and Maverick Espinoza and Macey Garland; grandparents, Emerald “Emmy” and Larry Cancel, Christina and Harry Patterson Jr.; great-grandparents, Cindy and Ken Lemmeyer, Edward and Sherry Garland, Gloria Marsh; aunts, Morgan (Xzavior) Cancel, Breanna Patterson, Abby Shaw, Shayla Shaw, Alexis (John) Bloch; uncles, Micah (Brenna) Garland, Mason (Christianna) Garland, Matthew “Griffen” Garland, Maximus Cancel, Maddox Cancel, Connor (Ari) Patterson; and many cousins, great-aunts, and great-uncles.

Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Helen Olei and Harry “Danny” Patterson Sr.; great-great-grandparents, John and Marjean VanHyning; and cousin, Elissa “Lissy” Garland.

Visitation for baby Matilda will take place Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, Ohio. Funeral service will take place Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Davis officiating, followed by interment at Western Star Cemetery in Norton, Ohio.
