Melinda A (Rish) Fitzpatrick

Melinda A. Fitzpatrick (nee: Rish), age 74, passed away March 26, 2022. Born in Kenton, Ohio to the late David and Maxine Rish, Melinda earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, and her masters from Baldwin-Wallace College. She taught for over 40 years at Crestview Elementary School in Brunswick. Melinda had a sharp wit, was an avid reader and traveler and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Vincent, Kurtis (Laurel), Matt (Lindsey), and Brian (Andrea); grandchildren, Evelyn, Kacie, Carson, and David; brother, Steve (Maeva) Rish; sister, Delores (Frank) Flowers; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00pm on FRIDAY, April 1, at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth. Memorial Services will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
