Merlyn B. Rock, born in 1941 in Wadsworth, Ohio, passed away June 4th 2025.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Beth) Rock; grandchildren, Nik (Mel) Alwick, Gabriel Ball, and Lillie Rock; and nephew, Robert (Carola) Rock.

Merlyn was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Mildred Rock; brother, Gerald (Bud) Rock; and beloved cat, Molly.

Merlyn was an avid outdoorsman with a great love of animals and nature. He was a lifelong resident of Wadsworth, where he met his dear friend and neighbor, Jean Brown. He worked as a contract administrator for Bausch and Lomb for many years, where he met his lifelong friend, Al Pizzuto. Merlyn had a big personality and will be greatly missed.

Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth, Ohio.
