Metha Marie Summers

Metha Marie Summers, 82 of Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2021 in Barberton,
Ohio.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Apostolic Church (AC) of Barberton, located at 1717 Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Barberton, Ohio. She will be interred in the National Cemetery in Dixon, California, with her husband Bill Summers.
Metha was born in Lovington, New Mexico, on January 6, 1939 to Ernest Franz and Audra Leola Wagner. She married Billy Ray Summers on June 23, 1957. She was a seamstress and crafter, and enjoyed making things for her loved ones.
Metha was preceded in death by husband Billy Ray Summers; son, Chris Summers; parents, Ernest Franz Wagner and Audra Leola Wagner; and siblings Ernest Felton Wagner, LaNora Payne, Melvin Nathan Wagner, Wanda Marie McDonald, Dorothy Ardella Jones, and Audra Luella Wright.
Metha is survived by son Ray Felton Summers, of Schriever, Louisiana; daughter LaVetha Lynn Random (husband Michael), of Barberton, Ohio; son Stephan David Summers (wife Debra), of Larnica, Cyprus; sister Emily Jean White, of Bakersfield, California; grandchildren Jennifer Warren (husband David), Christine Random, Malinda Random, Brittany Werth (husband Josh), Victoria Summers, and Lauren Summers; and great-grandchildren Chantae Warren, Brandt Warren, Kaileah Werth, and Patrick Werth.
