Monica Sue Wainuskis, age 47, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024, suddenly at home, peacefully in her bed. She was born on May 27, 1977, in Alliance, Ohio, to Mark and Sally Wainuskis.

She is survived by her partner, Dunbar; parents: Mark and Sally; brother, Troy; children: Arielle (Dylan), Alivia (David), and Averianna (Rose); grandchildren: Cole, Addison, Emberly, and Dylan; as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Monica spent most of her days caring for her family and friends. Her contagious smile and laugh, along with her caring personality, touched everyone she met. She worked at B&C for 23 years, working her way up in the company before moving on and starting her career at Northern Stamping in Cleveland, Ohio. She played a motherly role to many “kids” outside of her own. She always had so much love to give and will be deeply missed by all.

Memorial services for Monica will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, located at 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203. Flowers are welcome and may be sent directly to the funeral home.
