Nadine A. Clapper

Nadine A. Clapper, 81, of Wadsworth, Ohio passed away on May 21, 2023.

Nadine was born on April 4, 1942, to William and Beatrice Halter in Canton, Ohio.

Nadine is predeceased by her parents, William and Beatrice; her sisters, Susan Macioce and Janet Westhoefer; and her brother Ronnie Halter. She is survived by her children, Susan (Bill) Dodge, Laura (Danny) Cartwright, and David (Michelle) Clapper, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and was soon to become a great-grandmother.

Nadine created a wonderful home for her three children as they were growing up and was dedicated to taking care of them. She worked multiple jobs in a day to support her children. Nadine was such a caring mom that she put many of her children's needs before her own. She was both strong and physically active up until her passing, resisting to just sit and relax. Nadine was passionate about the outdoors, especially if it involved doing yardwork.

Nadine lived her life helping others, always choosing jobs in which she could service others. She spent many years working at an assisted living facility, notably the one her father resided in before his passing. When Nadine began residing in an independent facility herself, she continued to help residents as if she was a caretaker.

Her children will always remember their mother’s kindness and love for others. She will truly be missed so very much.

Services will be determined at a later date for family and friends to celebrate her life.
