Norman T. Boatright Obituary

Norman T. Boatright, known to friends and family as "Tommy" passed away on March 23rd, 2024 after a long illness. He was 67 years old.

Tommy was born to the late Jack Boatright and Novella (Hill) Dye on August 17th, 1956. He was one of five children, Russell Boatright, Bobby Joe Dye, Danny Rae Dye, and Gwendolyn Dye. Later in life he would come to know Bobby Dye as a father figure, once his family blended.

Tommy enjoyed the simplicity of life. Music, his favorite chair, and his friends were what he was known for. He always looked forward to his annual trip with his friends to visit his brother Bobby Joe's graveside in celebration of his birthday. His buddies, Jeff Calvert, Sam Finney, Ron Cook, and Scott Miller stood by his side. A skilled drywall finisher, Tommy's attention to detail and excellent workmanship was well known and acknowledged in his field.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Novella Dye and two brothers, Bobby Joe Dye and Danny Rae Dye. He is survived by his brother, Russell Boatright; sister, Gwendolyn Dye; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Higher Praise Ministries, 209 Northmoreland Ave, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
