Opal Mae Ellis (nee Justice), age 87, passed away July 23, 2025. She was born June 10, 1938 in Clay, West Virginia to Spencer and Maxine Justice.

Opal enjoyed going to church and bible study, participating in activities at ManorCare Nursing Home, and family gatherings. She was an avid reader who loved reading the Bible.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Ellis; daughters, Rose Ella Justice and Kathy Sullivan; son, Donny Justice; and granddaughter Tracy Wright.

Opal is survived by daughters, Debora (Les) Mapes, Margie Greathouse, and Tina Justice; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.

Calling hours for Opal will be Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home in Barberton, Ohio, with funeral services to follow. Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio at a later date.
