Patrick Loew Obituary

Patrick Joseph Loew, 69, was born on January 9, 1951.  He left this earth after a second, but very short battle with cancer.  He was the son to Harry and Mary Loew.  Patrick lived an amazing life with so many adventures and he also had so many loves along the way.  He loved listening to music as loud as he could on his record player.  This music included songs mainly from The Beatles, The Tasby Brothers, and The Dave Clark Five.  He also loved Ohio State football and the Cleveland Indians.  He worked on the railroad for most of his life, mainly with Conrail.  This is why one of his main hobbies was collecting and fixing up model trains and then seeing how well he could make them run.  He loved watching the same couple of shows over and over again.  Most of the time he’d watch them with his daughter Erika: these included shows like Star Trek and Chicago PD.  Another huge part of his life was his cat Digit.  He loved this cat so much and he was his buddy that kept him company every single day, even in his last days.  He had a lot of important things in his life, but the most important were his daughters.  They were the apples of his eye and they were everything to him.  There was nothing in the world he wouldn’t do to make sure they were okay.  He is leaving behind his daughter, Erika Loew (David Nakoneczny) and daughter, Emily Loew.  He is also leaving behind his three grandsons that he adored, and his world also revolved around; Robert “Junior” Westfall Jr. (Erika Loew), Sebastian Nakoneczny (Erika Loew), and Carter Loew (Emily Loew).  He also has a soon-to-be granddaughter that he will see from Heaven, Melody (Emily Loew).  He is also leaving behind his niece, Lauren Juscak (Shawn) and brother-in-law, Keith Twynham.  He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Loew and mother, Mary Loew, brother, Michael Loew, and sister, Colleen Norfolk-Twynham.  He will truly be missed by everyone who loved him, but his battle is over, and he can finally rest.  If you would like to make a donation, one way to do this is the GoFundMe that was started by Erika Loew to help pay for funeral arrangements.  Any funds remaining after the funeral costs will be donated to Hospice, as that is who was helping with Patrick’s care in his last days.  The website is https://www.gofundme.com/f/u2vds-funeral-planning?utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_na+share-sheet&rcid=9f4c94fa60054f48b0a9ffeace157090
