Once a Marine always a Marine. Our brother made it home today. He landed on the shores of Heaven. He was welcomed by a large family awaiting his return who all rejoiced, Pat’s back! He was one of the few, the proud, our brother.  
Born in Wisconsin, his Packers roots stayed with him. When life dealt him a fourth down, he always went for it. A can of Milwaukee’s Best sits in his fridge. 
He was a carpenter and a craftsman who could turn wood into form and function. He will make a fine addition to Jesus’s team.
Pat lent his talents to local theatres constructing elaborate stage sets and designing imaginary villages at Weathervane Playhouse and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.
Pat and the love of his life Kim were always welcoming guests into their home. Their good nature was a welcome relief to life’s rough edges. They loved to travel and Pat once walked in the footsteps of John Steinbeck as he made his way to the Salinas Valley.
A caring soul, with a warm heart and big dreams made him fun to be around. Pat’s beautiful sapphire eyes melted your worries away.  
He once amassed a large train collection and fancied himself the chief engineer.
An avid bird watcher you could find unique bird houses and sanctuaries in his backyard.
Pat’s associates always knew where to find him in his local office at Starbucks.
He loved dogs as much as people and sometimes more.
He was a tough marine who evaded Covid and taught us to fight life’s battles to the end. We will forever miss his presence but take comfort in knowing he will hold down the fort until we return.
