Paul Christopherson, born January 12, 1944, passed away on January 4, 2024, after a brave battle with Parkinson's. Paul missed his 81st birthday by just a few days. He graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1962 and attended Cleveland State University. Before retiring in 2015, he was sales manager for WQMX radio station for 25 years. 

For many, Paul was known as the life of the party, keeping everyone laughing.  During his retirement you could find him on the Chippewa Golf course working on his swing.  He also loved soccer and was instrumental in bringing it to Austintown, Ohio and establishing the soccer program at Ursuline High School in Youngstown.

Paul is survived by his high school sweetheart, Carol (Kowalski), who he had been married to for almost 59 years.  He also leaves behind his daughter, Julie (Greg) Kaczmarek; grandchildren: Anna and Jacob; son, Tim Christopherson; and grandchildren: Katie and Isabelle.

Per the family wishes, cremation will take place.
