Pauline Clayton

Pauline Clayton (nee: Mitchell), age 84, passed away September 15, 2021. She was born May 15, 1937 in Prunty, WV to the late Emmery & Goldie Mitchell. Pauline enjoyed country music, being outdoors, spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and time spent in West Virginia with her husband and family.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Amos; and brothers, Emmett and Dewey Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Tim (Erin) Clayton and Cathy (Rob) Wheatcraft; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Junior (Opal) Mitchell; sister, Violet Hardbarker; sister- in- law, Alta Mitchell; and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held, at 1:00pm on MONDAY, September 20, 2021 at McCullough-Raiguel Funeral Home, 1200 E. Main Street, Harrisville, WV. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00pm at the funeral home. Private burial for immediate family will be held at Lawford Cemetery.
