Ralph Sando Obituary

Ralph J. Sando, age 96, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021. Ralph lived in Barberton most of his life. He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Company Research Division. His greatest passion was golf; he was a “scratch” golfer! Ralph enjoyed a long and full life and will be missed by many.

Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise and son, Michael Sando. He leaves behind, his children, Deborah (Robert) Hite, Tony Sando, and Annamarie (Roger) Hannay; grandchildren, Brad (Tamara) Hite, Adam (Jennifer) Hite, Alexandria Hannay, Rachel Sando, Katrina (Adam) Smith, and six great- grandchildren.

Private funeral and burial will be held for family members. No calling hours.

Our special thanks to the Inn at CoalRidge staff for their “special” attention and love shown to Ralph. He enjoyed living there and made many friends; his closest being, Ken Bishop.
