Rebecca A Smith (Becky), age 72, of Wadsworth. Ohio, passed away on August 14th, 2024 after a sudden illness.

Becky was born on June 1st, 1952 to Mollie Dolores Makin and Edward Wise in Butler Pa. Becky Graduated from Cuyahoga High School in 1970.  After a year at Ohio State, she worked as a Staff Assistant at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 25 years.

Becky was married to David Smith for over 35 happy years.  Although she was not fortunate enough to have children, she was blessed by 14 nieces and nephews along with their kids, all whom she deeply loved.  She also enjoyed traveling, seeing different cultures, and customs.   She especially loved living in Germany for 4 years where she has many close and dear friends.  Becky was loved for her kindness and joyfulness.  Becky was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Wadsworth.

Becky was preceded by her father Edward Wise. She is survived, by her mother Dolores, brother Daniel Wise, nephew Richard, and niece Vanessa. A special thank you to the entire Smith Family for accepting and loving her as part of your family.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 260 Broad, Wadsworth, Ohio.
