Renee Lucille Smith (born Lucille Renee Martin), 63, of Orrville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. She was born on September 15, 1962, in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Leonard Martin and Joyce Martin Seguin.

Renee was preceded in death by her two sons, her brother William Seguin, and her parents. She is survived by her beloved siblings Linda Frye (Tom), Becky Kulcsar (Jim), and Marty Martin; her seven children, Sarah Smith (Amanda), Chad Smith (Megan), Ryan Smith (Sarah), Haley Schoenbaechler (Anthony), Alicia Mills, Autumn Mills, and Mikayla Smith; ten cherished grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and her devoted companion of over 20 years, Rick Keel. She also leaves behind her faithful dog, Goofy, who brought her endless joy and comfort.

Renee loved the simple joys of life — camping, fishing, and attending concerts — but nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her warmth, humor, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends Friday, November 21, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH  44203. Private inurnment will take place later at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron.
