Richard E. Myers was born September 8, 1934, in Poe, Ohio to parents, Joseph H. and Jeannette (Nettie) E. Myers. His surviving children are: Lynda (Bob) Miller, Michael Myers, Steven (Hope) Myers, Daniel Myers and Vicki Taylor. He is also survived by his fiancée, Deloris Drotleff, who was a special angel he spent the end of his life with.

Richard grew up in Seville, Ohio and graduated from Seville High School with the class of 1952. He worked at Tisher’s Restaurant in downtown Seville, where he fell in love with restaurants. He was the owner of The Gas Buggy body shop in Sterling, Ohio. He finished his career by teaching autobody at the JVS Medina.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadsworth, Ohio. Richard loved being with the Knights of Columbus and has many special friends there.

Calling Hours are Monday, September 23, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281 followed by a Funeral Service. Interment will be held at Poe Cemetery in Montville Twp, Ohio.
