Rick Bishop Obituary

Rick Bishop, age 60, passed away on March 6, 2018.

He was born in Norton on February 18, 1958, the son of the late Roscoe and Ernestine (nee Cunningham) Bishop and lived in the Barberton/Norton area his whole life.

Rick was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on the pit crew for Pro-Mod race cars, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Kimberly Bishop (nee Shemuga); his children Jason Bishop and Jami Bishop (Marty Nosich); his beloved grandchildren Haleigh Bishop, Tayler Bishop, MJ Nosich, and Brady Nosich; and his brother Gary (Becky) Bishop and sisters Beverly Phillips, Rhonda (Louie) Brodwick, and Kim (Tom) Clark.

Friends may call at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Barberton officiated by the Reverend Kevin C. Shemuga. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
