Robert P. Carson II passed away on July 12, 2024, in Barberton, Ohio, at the age of 63. Robert or “Bob” as most knew him, was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted son, and cherished brother. Born March 8, 1961, in Endicott, New York, to the late Robert P. Carson and Mary Jo Hazlett. Bob lived in New York for a short time before relocating to Florida as a child, and once more to Ohio, where he graduated from Tallmadge High School.   

Robert is survived by his son, Robert P. Carson III; daughter-in-law, Heather; and his grandson, Hunter. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Jo Hazlett; his brothers: Brian Carson and Michael Carson (Jeanette); his sister, Maryann Mousetes (Jim); and his nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Carson, in 2019.

Professionally, Robert was a man of many trades, but he especially excelled in sales, earning several awards throughout his career. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, talking with his grandson, and spending time with his family & friends.

Robert's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His family and friends take comfort in the memories they shared.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Bob will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Cox – McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203 with a visitation prior to the service from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Robert will forever be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, and the love he shared with those closest to him. May he rest in peace.
