Robert Eldin Evans, age 85, affectionately known as "Bob" of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024. Born on September 9, 1938, in Akron, Ohio, Robert lived a life filled with love, and dedication to his family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his oldest son, Robert Evans, Jr; his father, Pryor W. Evans and mother, Valley Marie Evans (Lindsey); his brothers: Pryor Evans Jr, Eugene Evans; and sisters: Eva Evans (Burns), Wanda Evans (Davisson) and Mildred Evans.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Evans (Lallathin); daughter, Nicki Evans (Herman); and his sons: Kevin Evans and Mario Evans. Robert was a cherished grandfather to Peyton Herman, Brock Herman, Marisa Evans, Stella Evans, Ryder Evans, Huston Evans, Robert Evans III, Matthew Evans, Rachel Evans and Tommy Evans.

Robert E. Evans was known for his sense of humor, generosity and wisdom. May his memory live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Services will start at 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
