Robert A. Ray, age 82, passed away at his home in Newton Falls, Ohio on August 7, 2024.

He was born in Huntington, West Virginia on January 26, 1942 to the late Forrest L. and Louise (nee Robertson) Ray.

Robert attended classes at Enslow & Huntington East High School. He moved to Wadsworth, Ohio in December of 1956, where he graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1959. Upon graduation, Robert enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving four years in Wyoming. He retired from GM Lordstown after working there for over 20 years.

His favorite past time was hunting elk in Wyoming and turkey in West Virginia. He had a love of the outdoors.

Robert is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry L. Ray; sister, Patricia Carter; and brother-in-law, Irvin Carter. He is survived by his brother, Forrest (Gloria) Ray, and sister, Betty (Richard) Gould.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St., Wadsworth, Ohio, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
