Robert "Bob" Paddy

Robert “Bob” Paddy was called home on July 18, 2026 from the Inn at CoalRidge with loved ones at his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Julia Paddy.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Carol; son, Daniel Paddy; daughter, Pamela Paddy; stepsons, Eric (Joy) Ries and Brian (Stacey) Ries; grandchildren, Danny and Sammy Paddy, Wade Ries, Michael Ries, Madison (Joe) Cooke, and Hayden Ries; and great-granddaughter, Molly Cooke. He also leaves behind many extended family members that were an important part of his life.

Bob enjoyed a good beer, fishing, and his time at many lake houses over the years. He was the owner of P&P Builders for many years before retiring. He enjoyed building homes and many of his customers and sub-contractors became lasting friends. He also built the Barberton Gazebo and worked for MRDD for many years.

His humor and kind heart will be missed by all his family and friends.

The family would especially like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at The Inn at CoalRidge and Harmony Hospice for making him a part of their family. Their loving care and support have been greatly appreciated.

Visitation for Bob will take place Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St,, Wadsworth, Ohio, with a service to follow. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, Ohio following services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob’s memory to Harmony Hospice (25825 Science Park Dr. Ste. 255, Beachwood, OH 44122) or Medina County SPCA (8790 Guilford Rd., Seville, OH 44273).
