Obituary

Ronald “Ronnie” Ferrell, age 82, went Home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2022.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Ronnie was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a Supervisor at Ken Tool and other factories, and a longtime member of the Apostolic Church of Barberton. He enjoyed many vacation fishing trips with family in Canada and enjoyed woodworking. Ronnie was known for his big sense of humor and even had folks laughing in his final days.

Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Scott and sister, Ruth Tudor.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Grace; children, John, and Theresa (Laddy) Goodman; grandsons, Ronald Scott (Erna), Lance, Cole (Kaley), and Aaron; brother, Gerald (Lucy); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the phenomenal nurses and staff at Summa Barberton Hospice for their care and support of Ronnie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 6:00pm at the Apostolic Church, 1717 Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Barberton. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 5:30-6:00pm at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Church.
