Ronnie Lee Parsons, age 73, of Barberton, Ohio, left us too soon on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. 

Born in Barberton, Ohio on February 23, 1952, to Joseph J. and Dorothy Ellis Parsons, preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lynne E. and infant daughter, Shashawnee Dee Parsons; brother, James Ellis; stepmother, Geneva Jeffrey Parsons; and stepbrother, Danny Jeffrey.

Ron is survived by his wife, Rhonda Lee Parsons; sons: Nathaniel, Caleb and Seth Parsons; sister-in-law, Sharon Ellis; sister, Karen Walters; brother, Joseph “Jody” J. (Brenda) Parsons II; as well all of his nephews and nieces.

Ron had the biggest heart for people and maybe that is why it gave out. He loved his family dearly. Becoming disabled after a construction accident, he helped others as he could, even sometimes giving the shoes off of his feet. Ronnie is greatly missed by his family. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, Barberton, Ohio, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
