Rosemarie Miller, also known as Ginger/Rosebud, passed away on January 26, 2023 with her daughters on each hand.
Born April 28, 1947, she is preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Charles F. Miller; sister, Janet Habick; brother, Donald Thornton; father, George Thornton; stepfather, David Noel; and mother, Mary Noel.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Charles (Barbara); daughters, Christina and Mary Ann (Christopher); grandchildren, Timothy (TJ), Kevin (Michelle), Anthony, Cheyenne (James Cumbaa), and Angel (Todd); and great-grandchildren, Rayna and Phenyx, who she prayed for years for!
Rosemarie practiced animal husbandry and she was a member of the Rabbit Breeder Association. She held a propagation license with her husband. With help from her children, she raised game birds and rabbits, and helped to repopulate wild turkeys in southern Ohio. She also rehabilitated many raccoons and other orphaned animals, even little field mice.
She loved her kids, grand-kids and 19 adopted kids, first and foremost. She also loved flowers, tulips being her favorite. Her favorite color was mint green; her hymn choice was ‘How Great Thou Art’ by Elvis; favorite movie ‘Mask’ with the Bob Segar soundtrack, and all of Bob Segar’s music; and drinking "Cocaine Ladies" with Jim Bean. She also loved Harley Davidson and all the wonderful people, traditions, and mindset the lifestyle instilled in her.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton. Interment to follow at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron. Family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service.
