Ruby Carmen Pennington, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2022. Ruby was born to Hamp and Margaret Pennington in Harlan, Ky. 
Ruby loved life and loved going to church. She attended Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. Ruby didn’t know a stranger and could befriend anyone. She lived life to the fullest in her Ruby fashion. She lit up the room and could put a smile on anyone’s face that she met. She lived her life by her rules. She loved her daughter and her grandbabies and called them her precious moments. 
Ruby was preceded in death by her Dad Hamp, Mother Margaret, and sister Karen (Ron) Jeffrey.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Brandi (Chris) Easterling, sister Melissa (Bill) Tackett, grandchildren Mikayla (Hunter), Chris Jr (Brittany), her Mini Me Reagan, great granddaughter, Gracelynn, and soon to arrive Madalynn. Ruby is also survived by her nephews Derek (Sara), Josh, Kyle (Laura), and Cole. Great nephews Carter and Brantley. Great niece Charlotte. Plus many numerous friends family, and church family. Ruby was loved by many and will be missed.
A memorial will take place at a later time per Ruby’s wishes. Cremation has taken place.
