Ruth (Bennett) McKinney

Ruth McKinney (nee Bennett), age 97, of Barberton, got her angel wings, on Tuesday, August 08, 2023 in Wadsworth. She was born in Buladean, North Carolina to the late Nathan Bennett and Edith Hill Bennett. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ford; her siblings, Cecil, Clifford, Harry, Ruby, Ottolene, Georgie, Nadine and Gene. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Brenda Powell, Ronnie McKinney, Sandra (William) Baker, Linda (Ralph) Maston, and Barbie Rhoades; grandchildren, Brian (Angie) Vaughan, Nathan Wilson, Ginnifer (Hans) Gohs, Eric (Yuliya) McKinney, Dennis (Malisa) Russell, Philip (Cayla) Rhoades, and Joseph (Bobbi) Powell; and great grandchildren, Meagan Vaughan, Ashley Plut, Bradley Rhoades, Alexander Russell, Tyler Russell, and Kathleen McKinney.

Calling hours will be held at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home at 222 Norton Ave. Barberton, OH 44203 on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10AM with funeral service to follow at 11AM. Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Doylestown, Ohio.
