Sharon/Shay Ruth (Roberts) Maynard, age 77 of Rittman, Ohio went to meet her savior on April 4th, 2023. Sharon was born to Fred and Daisy Roberts on September 16th, 1945, in Gladeview, West Virginia. Even though she experienced the sudden loss of her brother Buck as a child she grew to be an amazing woman full of love and life.

She was a beloved mother to Kevin (Esther) Maynard, Mitchell (Norma) Maynard, Brian Maynard, Amanda (David) Jewell and Samantha (Bryan) Andrews. She raised her children with love and devotion in Wadsworth, Ohio with her beloved husband Ronald.

She enjoyed painting, sewing and relaxing on the farm watching the horses play. She also enjoyed dancing, singing and playing the banjo.

Aside from her children she doted on she is survived by, Brother Roger Roberts, Sister Linda (John) Mattern, along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald, mother and father Fred (Daisy) Roberts, Brother Mike Roberts and Buck Roberts.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11:30 am at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High St, Wadsworth with Rev. Don Bolich officiating. Interment to follow at Rittman Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 pm.
