Shelia (Sis) L Ours, 82, of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully May 16, 2025 at Bath Creek Estates. 

She was born in Swanson, Maryland to Mildred and Arthur Ours. She worked at Summa Akron City Hospital for 38 years. She loved playing bingo, going out to eat and shopping on QVC. She served as President of the Residents' Council at Bath Creek Estates where she was beloved. Sis was blessed to have a devoted brother, Dale, who stepped up to take care of her after her stroke and the 20 years following. In her early years she loved spending time with her two nephews Allan and Kenny Dale and then eventually her great nieces and nephews. 

Shelia is preceded in death by her mother and father Mildred and Arthur Ours, sister-in-law Martha Jean Ours, and nephew Kenneth Dale Ours. She is survived by her brother Arthur Dale Ours, nephew Robert Allan (Cindy) Ours, niece Susan Ours and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Shelia's life at the visitation on Wednesday May 21, 2025 from 4-6pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home at 222 Norton Ave, Barberton, OH 44203. Memorial services will be held Thursday May 22, 2025 at 11am at Cox-McNulty. She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery following the services.
