Shirley Sue (Hook) Robertson, age 83, of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2025. She was born June 1, 1941, in Welch, West Virginia, to the late Presley Oid Hall and Francis Brown. She was a member of Higher Praise Ministries and retired from Akron General Medical Center.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Tina (Lonnie) Smith, Jerry (Renee) Hook, Ronald Hook and Sharon (Phil) Ralston; her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Robertson; and her mother, Frances (MaMae) Brown; her brothers: Terry and Jerry Hall; and her sisters: Brenda and Sharon. 

Calling Hours will be Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Higher Praise Ministries, 209 North Moreland Avenue, Munroe Falls, Ohio 44262 with services to be held the following day, Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Services will be officiated by Pastor Fred Webb and Associate Pastor Lonnie Smith. Committal Graveside Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44312. Dinner will immediately follow the committal at the church.
