Shirley Ann Smith Obituary

Shirley Ann Smith passed away peacefully in her home on August 23, 2023, just two days shy of her 89th birthday. Born in Zanesville, Ohio to James and Evelyn Hirst, she spent a majority of her life in Barberton. Shirley was a wife, mother, and grandmother known for her delicious family meals and the first one to be down for an adventure, even if that meant just hopping in the car for a drive. She cared deeply for her family and will be remembered for her perseverance and strength to build a life of her own.


She is survived by her children, Tari Kuba and Robby (Roberta) Smith; grandchildren, Ashley, Shannon, and Jason; sister, Linda (Andy) Hodovan; and cat, Lulu.
