Our angel has gained her wings.

Shirley Ann Thomas, born August 6, 1948, joyously reunited with her loved ones who passed before her on April 23, 2024. She has reunited with her husband, John; son, Donald; Mom, Iretta Marie; sister, Joyce; brother, Delmas; and best friends, Marie and Michelle.

While those who love her are heartbroken, we hold comfort in knowing she was at peace and ready to meet the Lord. She leaves behind to carry her love, her children, John Thomas, Denise and Scott Ross, and Lisa and Mark Nesline; grandchildren, Erica Thomas, Tom and Kayla Ross, Shara Ross, Austin Nesline, and Jackson Nesline; great-grandchildren, Konner Thomas, and Brooks and Everett Ross; sisters, Sharon Hay, Judy (Wayne) Smith, and Mary Rogers; and many nieces and nephews. She will leave a void that will never be filled.

A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
