Stephen Bracken Obituary
Stephen L. Bracken passed away July 13 after a hard fought battle with COPD and ALS. He was born on September 19, 1954 to William and Marilyn (Wilford) Bracken in Orrville.
Stephen graduated from Orrville High School in 1973. He was active in sports and was the quarterback of the football team. He retired from Gerstenslager in Wooster and loved watching his grandchildren in their sporting activities.
He is survived by his mother; son, Adam Bracken of Ashland; daughter, Bethany (John) Barker of Wadsworth; 6 grandchildren: Ava, Sydney, and Makenna Bracken, and Madi, L J and Sophia Barker; sister, Belinda Bracken-Good; and many dear friends.
Per Stephen’s request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
