Steve K Farhat Obituary

TOGETHER AGAIN-- Steve K. Farhat, age 74, passed away December 31, 2022. He was a graduate of Coventry High School, an Eagle Scout, previous head of maintenance at Parasson’s Italian Restaurants and was the owner of Akron- Canton Commercial Equipment Service. Steve was the former President of the Summit Lapidary Club and had a passion for “rock hunting” and faceting gems. He was an amazingly talented man who could repair anything. He was well known in the HAM radio community for his ability to fix radios as well as a distinguished operator. Steve also enjoyed watching football at the Portage Lakes Eagles, where everyone called him “Dad” and shared a special bond with his grandson Devon who was like a son to him. A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he looked forward to being reunited with the love of his life, Sandy, in Paradise.
 
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Kelly & Louise Farhat; beloved wife, Sandra L. Farhat; and brother, Mark.
 
He is survived by his children, Tabitha Bishop (Shayne), Steven Farhat (Heather), and Nicole Jones; grandchildren, Devon Jones- Farhat, Chloe, Morgan, Daniel and Logan Farhat, and David and Amanda Farhat; sisters, Karen and Linda (Roy) and brothers, Gary (Patty) and Tom.
Visitation will be held, Friday, January 6, 2023, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Cox- McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, OH.
