Teresa Plefka-Petroski, 71, fell asleep in the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2023, with her family at her side.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers. She is survived by her husband, James; her two sons, Nicholas (Meghan) and Alexander; and her sister Mary Ann (Fr. William) Plefka-Weir.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 5 p.m. until her Parastas service begins at 6:30 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton.

The family will continue to receive friends on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 755 S. Cleveland Ave, Mogadore. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, 1616 Krumroy Rd, Akron. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Cemetery, or to All-Merciful Saviour Monastery. May her Memory be Eternal!
