Together Again

Terry A. Jeffries (Nee Lowe) of Barberton, Ohio, age 77, gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born in Barberton, Ohio, on June 21, 1947, and was a lifetime resident of the area.

Terry graduated from Barberton High School in 1965 and became a Nurse’s Aide for many years. She worked at Barberton Hospital and Rafferty Nursing Home. She then went on to Nursing School, graduating in 1983. Terry worked at Akron Manor care until her retirement in 2012. She loved her little people on the 2nd floor. Terry had many interests and absolutely loved dogs. Especially her beloved Bassett Hounds. She was an avid antique collector, loved crocheting, shopping, giving gifts and hanging out on her front porch with her favorite lil’ guy, Brody the Westie, and a good cup of coffee.

Growing up with six brothers, Terry was an ornery one. Spicy would be a better word for her. If she thought it, she said it but with a smile. She loved joking with people and made friends everywhere she went. She had a big heart and has helped many people. Most of all, Terry loved her family, especially her grandkids, great-grandbabies and her beloved dog, Brody.

Preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Opal Lowe; her husband, Clyde L. Jeffries; her brothers: Llyod, Dick, Jack and John Lowe; and stepson, Jeffrey L. Jeffries. Terry is survived by her stepchildren: Diana Robinson (Michael Sanders), Lee A., Nick D. and Clyde P. Jeffries; her brothers: Mike Lowe of Texas, Jeff (Rona) Lowe of Massillon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her baby boy, Brody and Toby the cat.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton, Ohio 44203. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday, November 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, immediately followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery, 2580 Romig Road, Akron, Ohio 44320.
