Terry C. Wamsley

Heaven gained an angel, Terry C. Wamsley, on June 13, 2022. Terry was born October 4, 1967 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Preceded in death by 4 babies; grandma, Pearline Hackney; father-in-law, Harry Henline; and close friend, Ray Bukowski.

Survived by his wife, Lynette; children, Hannah and Joseph; parents, Brenda and Jerry Newton; twin brother, Tony Wamsley; brothers, Brett Newton, Doug (Clara) Newton, and Chad (Meadow) Newton; mother-in-law, Johanna Henline; nieces and nephews, Joshua (Emily) Henline, Jesse Henline, Lina (Daniel) Blair, Noah Partridge, Jonah Partridge, and Noah Newton; close friend, Traci Bukowski; and all the family at Primo’s Deli.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Park United Methodist Church, 2308 24th St SW, Akron, OH  44314. Family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Youth Soccer Association, P.O. Box 142, Barberton, OH  44203 or to Park United Methodist Church for the Zimbabwe Clinic.
