Vera Ellen Crooks

Vera Ellen Crooks, age 85, went to be with the Lord March 10, 2026.

She was born November 24, 1940 in Jerusalem, OH. She was a member of the Victory Chapel and was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Vera is preceded in death by her husband, James Crooks, and daughter, Rebecca Unrue. She is survived by her children, Gene (Joyce) Scritchfield and Martha Wymer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Cathy Albright.

The family will accept friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home in Barberton, OH. A funeral service for Vera will be held immediately following the visitation.
