Vicky Pearl Ferrell, age 69, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2025. Vicky was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth Sokols.

She was a dedicated employee of Barberton City Schools for many years. She adored spending time with her loved ones or snuggled with her sweet pup, Emma Lou. She loved camping, enjoyed games of all kinds, was an avid reader, and liked to garden and make things grow. 

Vicky will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was known for unconditional love and support. She was a kind, loving, generous soul who always found the positive in those around her. She faced health challenges with optimism and humor. No matter what she was going through, she was the first one there when you needed her. Vicky’s strength and courage is a true inspiration to us all and she leaves a legacy of love and compassion. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Ferrell; former husband, Gerald Twining; and great grandson, Genesis Milan.

Vicky is the beloved mother of: Aaron Twining, Beau Twining, and Andrea (Tony) Rodriguez. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Chyna McClinton, Justine Rodriguez, Aaliyah Rodriguez, Tatyana Rodriguez, Tony Rodriguez, Olivia Twining, August Twining, River Twining and Nova Twining; her great-grandchildren: Lennox McClinton and Gianni Milan; brothers: Stan “BEBE” Sokols and Lewis Sokols; all the loving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of Jessie Ferrell; her loyal companion, Emma Lou; and a large extended family and friends.
