Virginia Banfield, beloved wife and mother, born August 18, 1934, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2022, after a brief illness. 

Virginia was born in Parkersburg, WV, to George & Eva (Buck) Sinnett. Graduated from Parkersburg High School; class of 1952. Virginia worked in several clerical positions finishing her career as office manager at the Barberton branch of the Financial Exchange Company of Ohio. 

Virginia was preceded in death by Douglas Banfield, her husband of 44 years. She is survived by; children, Daniel (Marie) Banfield of Germany, Cathy Kaminski of Akron, and Connie Colton (Tim Prucha) of Omaha; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews, and friends at Rose Lane. 

Funeral service will be Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:30 am at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave, Barberton. Calling hours will be 10:00 am to 11:30 am prior to the service. Burial immediately following at Northlawn Cemetary.
