William Potts was born on September 6, 1950, and retired from Louisiana Pacific where he worked for over thirty years. 

Preceded in death by his parents: William and Eileen Potts; his loving wife of twenty years, Susan Potts; and his brothers: John and Leo.

William is survived by his children: Vicky (Ron) Ikey, Priscilla Ozmun and Ryan Potts; his grandchildren: Connor and Aleera; and his sister, Carrie.

The family would like to thank Pleasant View for all of the care for the last couple of years. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
