William “Bill” J. Stevenson, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home on July 2, 2023.
Bill was born in Shropshire, England to the late William and Catherine Stevenson on March 17, 1937. At the age of 11 he moved to the U.S. He was a graduate of Hower high school and was a proud Army veteran. Bill worked as a self- employed Machinist, owning Tru-Bore Machine in Barberton for over 30 years. He was a proud Mason of the Masonic Lodge in Kenmore and also served on the Civil Service of Barberton. Much of his life revolved around boats, Kelley’s Island, and his family.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert “Bob”. Bill will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 63 years, Terri; sons, Scott, and Mark; granddaughters, Jenna, and Gabrielle; great-granddaughter, Chloe; grand- puppy, Taco; and many special nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A special “Thank You”, to the staff at the VA and Summa Hospice for their kindness and care.
Inurnment with military honors will be held at 10:30am, on TUESDAY, July 25, 2023, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio.
