Wilma Rose
May 15, 1938 - March 26, 2026
Wilma Marie Rose (Snyder) was born in Sutton, WV to William Henry and Mildred Faye Snyder on May 15, 1938 and resided in Wadsworth, Ohio the majority of her life.
Wilma is finally reunited with her husband, Eddie. Eddie and Wilma met and were married two weeks later. They spent over 52 years together on Earth and now eternity together in heaven. They would have been married for 71 years on April 15. Wilma is also reunited with her parents, all six of her siblings, and her close friend Elmer Knight who preceded her in death.
Wilma leaves behind her children, Eric Rose and Emma (Brian) Puehler; and grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Giacomoni, Jason Puehler, Therese Hubbell, William Rose, and Joe Rose; along with many great grandchildren but especially Ava and Anthony Giacomoni who held a special place in her heart! Wilma also leaves behind her brother-in-law, Jerry Lemon, many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Wilma spent many years working at Nabisco in Seville, Ohio until the company moved.
Wilma could always be found at South Main Street Church of God on Wednesdays and Sundays for church and leaves behind many church friends that became family to her, especially Pastor Jeff and Connie Ball and Debbie King. The family thanks them for being there for Wilma especially in her final moments.
Wilma was a woman of great faith and knew she was ready to go home. Her favorite reading material was always the Bible and if you needed prayers she was the person to call. Wilma also enjoyed past times of playing cards, gardening, and never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune.
Friends and family may be received on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at Cox McNulty Funeral Home, 1376 High Street, Wadsworth, with the funeral service to follow immediately. Wilma will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Gardens in Seville, Ohio following the funeral service.
