Damn Brittany, you would think that 8 years later it would be a little bit easier. I still miss you more than you know. I am still a mess without you. And I'll never be the same. I need you sis. I am so messed up right now. My life is so messed up. You wouldn't even recognize me at this point. I'm not a mother, I'm not a daughter, a friend, or a help to anyone. I am not the strong woman that everyone always thought I was. I need you Britton. I love you. I miss you.

It's taken me a long time to do this but I still can't come to grips with the fact that my favorite sister, and best friend is gone. Not to mention the fact that so many of us who should have given her the love, support, and example that she needed just contributed to her life and death, it breaks my heart every day. I am sorry to all the family and friends, true friends that lost this beautiful, funny, big hearted girl that noone will ever come close to comparing. I will never be the same, I don't think anyone who really loved her will. Britt I will light a candle for you every day as long as I am here and I will see you someday in Heaven and I know that you finally have the peace and rest that you just never had here in this world. Rest in peace Britt. We love you. I love you.

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gained an angel in heaven that watches over us. Prayers to all the family to take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now that is now resting in the arms of our Lord. My heart goes out to everyone that's hurting now from loosing Britt. I can still see n remember babysitting Britt running around in her diaper, cuz she didn't wanna put any clothes on!! I Love ya Brittany n will always miss you!! Now ur in a better place where addiction won't n can't hurt u anymore!! When you're older like i was to her as a sister, you get two sides to it. One, the big sister role but then two, a second mom-like role also. I remember holding, playing with and taking care of her as early a the first day she came home. I don't care what happened or what she was up to if you could peg her with one word even at her worst it would be innocence. She didn't see people or things like the rest of the world. And I'm glad for that. 24 years old, natural blonde hair and blue eyes with the prettiest lips and smile and she knows I was jealous of those boobs. They've got a looker for sure up there. We'll all be together one day and when we do have that full family reunion it won't be as close to as hard as it's been here on Earth. I will miss her everyday but I find comfort in knowing that we do live on and will be a family still. I love you with all my heart Britt. You made your mark in our lives. Even if we all got caught up in the realities of life's challenges and lost slight track of that, a love that strong can and will never be undone nor forgotten by any chance. You were an Angel in the flesh and now by soul. We will always call on you. Your nosy big sis Louie.
