My Mom thought the world of Stepfather Frank Prosen, he took such good care of his wife Mabel Prosen.

Family, Please accept my condolences and know my prayers are with you.
Frank was a wonderful loving gentle man who took me under his wing when I was 5 years old, being so young at the start mom would walk me to the corner of 8th and Park where Mabel intercepted me and I would visit with Mabel and Frank,
As time passed mom would stand on the porch and Mabel would wave at the corner when package received. We lived close by.
I loved that house next to the railroad tracks, Ohio Brass and that porch swing, Mabel, Frank and their dog. All the OB workers would say hello, stop and chat when leaving work. such wonderful times back then. There was never a stranger.
Frank always wore a hat a wonderful photo of him,
I remember him taking the time to hold my hand and we would walk the dog to the corner, slate sidewalks back then I remember those too. They always had candy, ice cream, or popsicles.
I was not the only young visitor Frank and Mabel had, there were a few of us drawn to those loving neighbors I recall Becky being one.
I know through the eyes of a child they must have been magical and know filled with love to give us.
They were the parents, neighbors of our yesteryears, The ones who loved guided, and scolded you when needed just as their own.
They offered all of themselves without hesitation, I think back to my childhood how blessed we were with the neighbors in our lives.
Frank thanks for the little moments in life that meant so much to us neighborhood kids, Thanks for tending to my scraped knee when I fell off my bike you patched me right up along with the other wonderful memories I have. You and Mabel always in my heart and memories.
Frank Prosen I Salute you with Respect, Honor and Love thank you for your service in more ways than one.
