Roberta D. “Bobbi” Stansky

Bobbi Stansky, 57, left the world peacefully on October 3, 2015 surrounded by many family and friends. She was born in Akron on September 25, 1958. Bobbi was a Eucharistic Minister at Prince of Peace church and involved in the choir.  She was a loving person for whom everyone was a friend, and every friend was family. 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Mark; her children, Carie (spouse Chuck) Stansky-Hunter, Michelle, Michael (Amy) and Matthew; her parents Marge and Jerry Hazel; her sisters Vicki (Joe) Beard, Renee (Jim) Sheets, Geri (Danny) Ball, Martha (John) Cowan,  and her brother Bill (Karla) Hazel; her grandchildren, Chase, Luke, Sarah-Lyn, Aiden, Sophia and Clayton; her many nieces and nephews along with the many friends God graced her with; she was also "Mom" and Aunt Berta to many “adopted” children.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 8th at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave in Norton with Father Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7th at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave in Barberton.
